    I want to replace the forestay on Mikado and I am afraid it will be difficult if not impossible to slide the old extrusions on a new cable wire The seafurl 4880 type DD for 12 mm seems out od production Suggestions ?

    A few more details and perhaps the experts would chime in:

    I don't know what sort of ship Mikado is, nor have I ever heard of Seafurl.
    (My boat sports 2 ProFurl roller furlers but Seafurl is a new brand to this sailor)
