Beginning with Carl Gustaf Pettersson and continuing today with the designs of Bo Zolland (Dolvik Yachts), Scandanavian yachts grace the waterways of Northern Europe with something special, a unique connection between man & the sea. ;)

Man, that wood is beautiful... but if I never have to sand & varnish again... it'll be too soon. LOVE to look at 'em though...

The white hardtop above, or it´s sistership, ended up in St Tropez. Now they are building a 46-footer that will have a varnished hull, despite it will also enjoy the sun of St Tropez. Builder is Johansson & Son in Holmsund, Sweden and designer of both is John HV Lindblom.

    Sway...

Twenty years ago I used to sail this boat and she was then considered really big, a Swan 651 extended to 72 feet.

Still swedish owned she is now chartering in Caribbean and the Baltic. Picture taken just an hour ago...
