SanLorenzo launch four megayachts in two weeks Italian yacht builder SanLorenzo has been very busy especially with the launching of four yachts in the space of two weeks. Two of them are from the SL96 line, one from the SD112 and the other from the SD92 model. In order, the names of the yachts are "India" and "Peacemaker", "Noor" and "Aventus" (second SD112). The yachts will be delivered to clients on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean. India has been designed bespoke for her Italian owner. They decided on a refined interior decor that melds the use of two precious and prized woods. There is light-grey bleached oak that was used on flooring and walls applications and Canaletto walnut wood on the furniture mainly. The furniture itself are designer coming from Italian brands like Minotti, B&B, Maxalto, Flexform, Roda, and Paola Lenti.
"Peacemaker" is from the same model as India and was ordered by an American owner. They were looking to be as flexible as possible and opted to go for a four cabin layout instead of the regular 5 that can be found on this model. In the place of where the 5th cabin would have been the owners placed a small gym. Of course SanLorenzo did a custom management system for the owners by installing a domotics system. It allows the management of all the electronic appliances via smart phone, Ipad and similar devices.
The third launch is a member of the SD92, "Noor" at 27.6-meters LOA. She now represents the twenty-first hull in this particular model for SanLorenzo. Her owners are from Italy as well and went with a minimal approach for the interior. The interior is pretty much all white, modern and minimal. Broad use of white lacquered finishing for furniture and ceilings, crossed with white leather upholtery. The owner’s cabin is located on the main deck, while the lower deck houses three guest cabins and a fitness area.
The final yacht is the second hull in the new SD112 series called “Aventus”. Only a couple months passed since the first hull, "O", was launched. Her Belgian owner opted for a five cabin layout, with a large owner’s suite on the main deck and two fold-down terraces in the saloon. The main wood used on the interior design is the fine-lined American elm, both for the walls and for the furniture. The decor is completed with elements by Cassina, Gallotti & Radice and Minotti for the interior and Summit, Maxalto and Lenti for the exterior. A busy period continues for the Italian yard as they have to sea trial and deliver all four yachts along with the 46-meter Steel "Trident".
