I've looked trough the tech pages and didn't see anything on this. I'm consitering the purchase of an Sea Ray 40 Express Cruiser. Wondering about any problems with a saltwater to fresh water move for the boat? Thanks,Gotta-float

    Welcome gotta-float,
Usually, folks have problems when going from fresh to salt water.
One thing to keep in mind is that once you go to the fresh side, corrosion can still occur because, most likely, there will be salt and/or corrosion still in place. Salt not only corrodes from the inside, but outside too. Not sure what year it is, but I think you definitely want to clean the engine room and engines. Spray from the shaft or stuffing box, busted raw water hose, leaky heat exchanger may have dumped salt water in the engine area.
Also, I would change the impellers and wedges as you're not sure of their age.
    Good luck.
