What sportfisher 35+ feet whilst still a good sea boat rocks the least at rest?

Deep vees are the worst at rest, gets better as the dead rise at the stern gets to zero. Beam is always a consideration

I've always been VERY impressed with the Carolina Classic 35' express. But they only make an express. In a Flybridge boat, the 35' Cabo FB is a pretty stable boat for it's size at rest........

I had a 35 Viking that was very stable at rest and at anchor compared to my friends 35 Bertram that would rock and rock even at the marina.

The Bertram did ride slightly better in a head sea, but not really that much better.

The Bertram also rocked you silly trolling and on the drift.

Just went from a 28 Bert, which I really miss, to a 35 Viking for a number of reasons. Mostly I just needed the room and yes, my 28 Bert would rock me to death in boat wakes on the Chesapeake!

The Viking is better in some ways and worse in some others. It is a bit stiff in a head sea but not too bad. It is super stable on the drift which we do a lot! The Bert was much faster! But that was a function of power in the Bert!
