Just thinking... Who all is interested in creating a burgee for the club. We may still have time to be flying one for the summer.
Do we stay along the classic Chris Craft lettering or come up with something new? Classic boats = classic lettering, IMHO. Can we get permission from Chris Craft to use their Roamer logo, maybe? How about "In Oneiros we Trust"
I know the Commander club got Dick Avery to design there's. But I dont know if we could get that lucky. We would have to get Chris craft permission to use any part of thier logo. Just need to find the right person to talk to.
hihi Hope not in god I have only one god and that is myself oneiros means "goddess of dreams "Greek mythology if I'm standing on the dock, can I get a ride with a 41 foot my Roamer is like the Old Immigrants they just have just one trip across the Atlantic
Bingo Perfect choice, now it's all up to the powers that be. Chris Craft has been kind to the Commode - doors club, they even allow them to post news of up-coming Club functions on their website, I don't see the harm in asking.
Check out these Burgees I have included the link to this sight if anyone is interested. The first burgee appears to be a reproduction of the original. The striped one is what they refer to as the "Official Roamer Club Burgee". Kinda plain but keeps with the 60's styling. http://www.classicboatwork.com/shirts/shirts.html
I have seen these through the Commander Club. Just thought it would be nice to have something that said Chris Craft and Club on it. Are you selling them or just that website?
I have purchased them before. Just checking to see if the Roamer club wanted a flag with there name on it.
I like this idea best. The ones that just say Roamer are kinda...meh. Can you take a pic of the bigger emblem on a black background and another on a white background? I've got a buddy whose wife has an embroidery machine that can work wonders, but she needs a hi-res pic to start out with.
I took it off the add that yachtsman Bill posted. I can try to get someone to draw it up. Will that work?
