she is presently at faliro marina http://www.faliro-marina.gr which is her home port. Last weekend she left for perhaps a weekend cruise or a trial?. there still appears to be some preparations going on on board.

here is a low quality pic which illustrates what i saw as i was photographing Mosaique today. RM ELEGANT and TURAMA at anchor together off the coast of Faliro today. RM ELEGANT ok her home port is nearby but TURAMA has home port Lavrion which is all the way to the right of the photo and round the coast. The airport is also closer to TURAMA's home port so i suppose there was some kind of charter for both vessels....only speculation anyway but interesting.

    Techmati...

Your pictures are so nice, we're going to officially increase image resolution to 640 x 480 around here! ;)

We've been at 540 pixels for a long time, mostly so people with small monitors don't need to scroll sideways, (and those on dial-up don't have to wait so long) but ... it's about time to expand our view into the yachting world. We're installing a gallery database in the next couple of months that will allow super-size images, with thumbnails for quick searching.

I hope you'll be able to share a few of those wonderful images from across the pond. :)

    Thanks again!

i am of the same opinion. many people now have TFT monitors with 1280 x 1024 resolution now so pics can look quite small. additionally many people have broadband so i design for 1024 x 768 accommodating dial up with 600px width images and popup images at 1200 width if the picture quality permits for the tft/dsl users.

i will be pleased to contribute when i can. vbulletin rocks

i was thinking how although there is dispute about whether they are cruise ships or yachts etc, that both have an original profile that is easy to recognise even from a very long distance. Impossible to confuse with another vessel and that is something special. This is something which was brought home to me recently with the visit of MIRABELLA V at Flisvos for a few days. if the camera taking the above photograph had panned to the left you would have easily spotted her mast which was visible for miles around. I thought since she was in Rhodes recently she might have come to Athens. Following the mast.....i was right. original distinguishing features are the way forward.

    yes..elevator... :)

Yes this elevator..mm... does not look nice... but is busy all day !

Rm Elegant performs an excellent cruise on a real speed of 15kn and the interior is decorated by Lalis Poulias (same person who decorated Annaliesse). The crew makes a great difference whilst a First Chef (from the four Chefs on board) is unique...
Despite the fancy looks the sun deck is utmost inviting when some other mega yachts restrict the jacuzzi on the top deck where nobody goes to be left alone..
Excellent parties with an orchestra on board were organized during a charter we provided this yacht and the impressions of our clients were excellent!
