Every so often I am able to meet some of my fellow YF members in real life. I'm lucky enough to enjoy the pleasure of Carl's company a couple of times a year, but it's nice to sometimes put other faces to the names. Yesterday, I had the good fortune to meet CaptPKilbride in Northeast Harbor, Maine. Not only did we solve some of yachting's problems over a cold one, but Pat was kind enough to share some great local knowledge with me. Thanks again for taking the time to stop down for a visit. Ken
Lars Modin- A gentleman and a wonderful host What a great delight I had today when I had the pleasure of meeting our very own moderator AMG. Lars was so gracious to collect us in one of his very fine Delta 34s and treat my Owners and me to a wonderful tour of the Stockholm Archipelago. Thanks Lars for the tips and insight into your beautiful home waters aboard one of your fast and comfortable creations!
Thanks Ken, it was nice to meet with you and the Owners of Rena as well! To my surprise, Ken was making a detour to my house with the boat when they arrived to Stockholm yesterday. And today we had a sunny day in the Archipelago, here is Ken saying hello from Sweden to all at YF:s...
Wow, I never saw this post until today! It was a pleasure meeting you Ken, hope your summer abroad is going well!
Lars and His Deltas And Here is Lars saying Hello to YF from the deck of his beautiful Delta 54. It was great to see how many of Lars' creations are plying the Stockholm waters! They seem to be "the" large boat to cruise in Skargard!
Thanks for the pictures, have a great trip! Fun to think the Rena was in the Great Lakes only 9 months ago, what an adventure!
We have been getting around. I was remiss in not adding you to the list of hospitable YF members who I've met throughout my travels as well. Cheers.
KEN thanks for sharing the photos and info , who is the builder of your boat i like the lines travler

Apology Fish- please accept my apologies for my lack of hospitality; I was slightly flu-ish and still jet-lagged from my vacation to the NW USA. Under different circumstances you would have had a difficult time getting rid of me!
