I’ve got a Raymarine eS128 MFD chart plotter.
The screen keeps changing on its own and it won’t hold a chart. The touchscreen also sometimes doesn’t work.
Has anyone else had similar problems with this model…and did anyone get it repaired?
We’ve been told that Raymarine won’t/can’t fix it!

It could be a touch screen issue. Perhaps the screen is getting ghost inputs. There should be an option to disable the touch screen feature. Try that and simply use the manual buttons until you have a permanent fix.

Also, check to make sure that all of your peripherals (if any) are connected properly. Check that you have a good ground, a good drain connection and stable voltage supply. Check to make sure that the NMEA network (if networked) is properly terminated at both ends.

We think it’s about 5-6 years old, but we’ve only just purchased/installed it…

Thanks for all the suggestions. Chat online doesn’t fill us with confidence that this is fixable so any suggestions are much appreciated…
