All comment on my sort list of boats are well come.

Any planing hull is out of the questions, i like to do long distance.

    Cantieri Estensi Maine 530

I am looking for some feedback, Very uncommon model only a few available on the used market.

    1. I have no clue if this is a planing hull or semi-planing
    2. I expect very well build 37 metric ton half load for a 58 feet is not light if you compare to Fleming and Grand Banks.
    3. Engines Volvo penta D11-670hp, so i guess this is a good thing
    4. Model is year 2011 first use (registration) 2014
    5. Very Italian design
    6. Design class A
    7. Gyro stabilizer ( I like to be in comfort at low speed and at anchor)
    8. crew cabine entry with full size door at the stern
    9. hydraulic bathing platform
    10. no commercial information available (no-video, review ..; nothing)
    11. V-drive

She looks like a winner but, again a very uncommon boat and the official brand website has no information on this model, the smallest is 65 feet on the website.

Sasga yachts 54 Flybridge (spanisch, Menorca)
    1. SD hull
    2. design class A
    3. 24 metric ton
    4. Volvo Penta D6-435hp
    5. year 2013
    5. Current model (very attractive for resale potential)
    6. Small crew cabine
    7. nice layout (master,VIP, double single) + crew
    8. nice bow bench layout
    9. Gyro installation is possible
    10. New brand or rebirth of an existing brand menorquin yachts???
    11. Lots of video and commercial info available
    12. Direct shaft drive

    Cantieri Estensi Maine 530 (Italian)
    1. hull type is unclear (comment from the brand perform well at displacement and goes on-plane at 11.5 knots. and has a small keel, could be an SD hull
    2. Design class A
    3. 24 metric ton
    4. IVECO-FPT 450hp
    5. used available year 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2015 so there is a choice
    6. New model is the 535 and is only a facelift, so still in production
    7. Crew cabin for 2, waw in a 55 feet boat
    8. nice layout (master,VIP, double single) + 2 crew
    9. nice bow bench layout
    10. Gyro installation is possible
    11. Lots of video and commercial info available
    12. Direct shaft drive

Shoot with any information, i am in the market for a SD-hull 55 isch sleeps 6 boat with crew cabin)

    Are nogo
    1. Grand banks, 1965 grandpa design no resale potential within 7 years from now and Class B design, new models are out of budget
    2. Fleming 55 the perfect SD hull, but, only year 2000 models available in EU, to expensive, Engine Room to low, Layout to small.
    3. Adagio yachts- very quality build can easily compete with Grand Banks, but unknown so no market for resale.
    4. Selene 53-54 non available in EU,
    5. import from US is +25% tariff +21% VAT +CE certification +60-50hz conversion, + transport and US prices are already high (unless they buy at -30%) used US boats are out of business in EU.
    6. Beneteau Swift 52, low cost IKEA made boat, it simply can't compete with other brands
    7. Azimut Magellano 53, yes waw but still over budget year 2015 is the oldest on the market.

This on is off Market as indicated by the Berthon video???
Is this a semi-displacement? I like to go at displacement + a fex knots if needed.
Go on plane is not for long distance and not for beam sea of 3 to 5 feet.
At my sealing grounds (Spain,Alicante south) 4 feet sea and wind force 4 to 5 in the afternoon is a standard condition during summer time.
