I'm just curious about a rough ballpark price to ship a 58 foot SeaRay Sedan Bridge (for instance) about 250 miles from an inland lake to coast (NC). I tried to find info in previous posts but didn't find anything close to cost estimate. I'm not even sure if this boat is too big to truck, but that's the only way it could be moved. Not looking for real details, just some educated guesses, hopefully based on some experience.
    Thanks.

Not trying to be smart, but it got there somehow. Had to be on a truck.

I know a couple of people who have moved large SR's by truck. Fly bridge will have to be removed. Best advice I got from those people who went down this road was to have whoever is going to put it "back together" do the removal. Even if that means paying them extra to travel to the pickup site. I would think wiring, etc., would be much better labeled and organized by the person that knew in a few days they had to re-assemble.

It has been done before with a Sea Ray.

I moved my 52 Sea Ray sedan bridge a few years ago about 100 miles and it ran close to 20000. I agree that the person who tears down should put it back together and even then you will still have gremlins for a while until you get it fine tuned. I just bought a 58 and was lucky enough to bring it back to Lake Michigan on its own bottom.
