    Hi

This is my first post on the forum so think i have to present myself.

I'm a 16 year old guy from Sweden with dreams of becoming a naval architect and yacht designer in the future.

I have drawn boats and ships since i was a small kid and was able to use pen and paper. And in the recent years i have started to use Ms Paint, and Google sketchup for my work.

    Some examples of my designs.

And now i have started to draw on a yacht. I have made some fast sketches on paper, and will later draw in ms paint and google sketchup.

Sorry, my English isn't the best ;)

Now it's fixed, sorry for the problems.

Should have read the rules and guideline thread before posting any images....

Things starting to get on its place, just some detail work left.
Would be nice to hear what you think about it so far. :)

The tender boat is a Delta 26 open. (Delta Powerboats.)

    Finally it's done.

Haven't got any comments yet, so would be nice to hear what you think about her? ;)

Now i will continue with 3d drawing in Google sketchup, but it will probably be a challenge making the hull....
The 3d ships shown below is made by me in sketchup, just a little preview of my sketchup work.

I do like your design. To me it looks like a modern take on a trawler. I look forward to seeing it in sketchup.

I don't think i would be able to put up with paint long enough to produce anything nearly as nice.

    Hi,

Unless you are careful that beam will make it a pretty stiff platform with some considerable changes in acceleration when rolling.

Where do you plan on carrying a 26ft Tender on a 170 ft motor yacht?

Thanks for the tip. I'm just a 16 year old amateur, so i don't know that much about ship dynamics and so on. ;)

Yes, the tender is maybe a bit to big. I have made a yacht garage at the starboard side of the stern (Like on the CRN Jade).
