    I had placed a notice under the crew category looking for an assistant for the boat show. I had several YF members respond, and I am amazed at the quality of people that are on this forum - professionalism, wisdom, experience, and resumes that would be astounding in any profession.

    Great job, Carl! Congratulations on not just a successful Forum (and a place that I knew would be productive for meeting my personnel needs), but for the quality of people who read and respond to the topics.

    No kudos kiddo. We're all in this together.

    On this subject, I think it’s important to note… I know a few regulars think YF is comprised mostly of captains. Although we top a Google search for “Yacht Captains”, the majority of our members are yacht owners, with a surprising number of very notable, very large yacht owners.

    Unfortunately, many owners prefer to keep a low profile, so it doesn’t help us much in forum participation. I’m hopeful that will change as YF becomes more mainstream.
