I need to change my power steering hydraulic filter. After removing old filter should I fill the new filter up with power steering fluid and then screw it on or leave unfilled and put power steering fluid in the pressurized cylinder after releasing pressure. Thanks

fill the filter to reduce the air you will be introducing into the system. You'll have to run the helm pin to pin a couple of time then check the pressure and fluid level in the ER cannister. Keep a watch each time you check your engine oil.

Also since your boat has a power steering pump, make sure the engines are running when you turn the wheel lock to lock several times.
