Does anyone know where there might be some old wooden Post 40's? I am looking to scrounge some usable parts off some derelict boats. I have a 1971 Post 40. Wooden beast. She still floats even. If I can find some old parts to scavenge, it would be great. I am in Virginia. Who knows where they are sitting?

This is not a lot of help but there was an old woodie all the way up at the end of Mill Creek, off of Whitehall Bay.
It looks downtrodden the last I saw it which was year before last.
It was the third time I had seen it at that particular marina.

Possibly Mill Creek Marina or Mill Creek Harbor in St Margarets MD.
The St Margarets road ( Route 179) , crosses a bridge right at the marina as I recall.

There used to be one that came to our marina in spring time but I have not seen it in a few years.

    Good luck with your search.
