    Hey yall,
My tug boat was in the March issue of Popular mechanics. The Edward J. *****. there is a picture of me giving signals to the captain when putting the pilot on the ship. Pretty cool! I know the vessels arent all beautifully polished fiberglass, but they get the job done.

Congratulations on the article. I know ***** Towing to be a highly respected and professional tug company. Not to worry about the plastic gloss, I understand ***** has excellent service schedules and a large in-house staff of mechanics and welders. GA, NY, Jacksonville, Miami, any other ports?

I am at the savannah port, and we have great engineers and believe me we put our welders to work.

So, just out of curiosity, do you know Paula Deen's husband?

I was just over Mike's house today as a matter of fact. His son in the mate on my boat and he is one of our docking pilots. Nice folks, very humble people.

Cool, I'm a big Paula Deen fan. I grew up in Savannah and spent lots of time as a kid on Turner's Creek right in front of where their house is now. I still haven't been to her restaurant though. I'm not big on lines and every time I've been by it there was a long line. Last time I tried was 5 years ago though.
