    Sorry, I don't have her name, but might be able to obtain it. I know she's owned by a Russian family who was on board.

    Anything with that wonderfully bulging freeboard that sports a 20' bowsprit is "100% OK" in my book.

    It looks to me like that boat was here in Scheveningen harbour (Den Haag, Netherlands) a couple of months ago. The letters on the stern were in Russian only, so I couldn't read the name or homeport, but she sure was impressive up close.
    Most strikingly, she looked used and rugged, which made her much more realistic than many recently rebuilt old beauties, with their shining varnish. Indeed "pirate ship" were the very words which came to my mind as well.

    am sure that boat is owned by the Russian Navy as a training vessel
