    Great Lakes Pilot Assocation has new rules for Pilots for Yachts this year.
    Foreign Flags Yachts will need a Pilot for Yachts 35 meters or greater for St.Lawrence Seaway and Welland Canal.
    Canadian and United States yachts will need a Pilot for Yachts 1500 Tons (ITC) or greater.

    Laurentien Pilot Association (Quebec)
    From Montreal to Escoumains ( St.Lawrence River)
    Foreign Flagged Yachts will need a Pilot for yachts 35 meters or greater.
    Canadian Flagged Yachts will require a Pilot 70 meters or greater.

    I applied for an exemption, but have yet to hear back. We are planning to head up there late in the summer , but may punt if pilotage is too costly.
