We just pulled into Pier Sixty-Six and what a transformation. The docks are all new and how impressive is that face dock with two 300ft vessels next to eachother. Awesome to see.
Do you have a business relationship with Pier 66 or LXR? Your other post makes it seem like you're in the business.
I think you Piered into the poster's identity quite well OB. Kevin, I know you juggle too many details every day to recall our rules during your original registration in 2007, so please allow me to offer a quick refresher. We are inundated with companies attempting to use YF's collective knowledge for marketing research, or to promote their services and goods to our readers. It's not a surprise, we have about 10,000 yacht captains and over 15,000 yacht owners as members. Fairly fertile ground for grass roots marketing! One of the reasons for YF's traffic, which peaks each summer at nearly one million readers, is because our members are diligent in keeping our discussions undiluted by commercial interests. If someone poses as an unbiased 3rd party, promoting a product or service, they are instantly banned. Moving forward, full disclosure is always best. You are among many friends here.
Sorry I didn't know or recognize you as an old member Kevin and we've had a rash of newcomers the last few days visiting to sell boats and otherwise solicit. Had you simply included the disclosure about your role and your pleasure as you pulled in, it wouldn't have brought the question. Well, now I guess I should go get a 300' yacht so I could try it out. I don't think so. But I'm sure those who do have them will be pleased as that's where the docking shortage today is.
