I am looking for a nice picturesque yachting book to aid in my latest ambition of starting a book collection. If anyone knows of any books that might work well, please let me know. Thank you.

I believe it was "Yacht Quarterly" who came out with some really classy books back in the '80s. First-class photography and great copy, to boot.
I wish I had all those on my bookshelf today.

Thank you, I will look up the Yacht Quarterly. Also, maybe if Florbrant can just private message me the link or something since it is being taken out, I'd appreciate that. I live in a smaller town so I'm sure I will need to find both online. Thanks again,

    Matthew

    Mattew,

The link was to a magazine, one of the well-known publications you will find on any newstand. In your post, you said you're looking for a book with yacht photography to start a collection. A magazine isn't applicable, so the link wasn't relevant.

They were called Nautical Quarterly. They can be found at good maritime bookshops or on ebay. They are great, I have the entire collection.

Thank you for the proper name 'Nautical Quarterly'.

If it weren't for this darn halfheimers, I might remember stuff like that.

In any event, I am envious of your collection and, take it from us, Matt.rivera, these are very worth your while in pursuing to see National Geographic-type photography with copy done by those who love boats.
