Looking at a 40' 1974 Owens Concorde, twin 4-71's, having trouble finding much info on this boat. Any info on this boat would be appreciated, build quality, any particular problems to be aware of. Boat has fresh motors and good electronics, updated interior. Would be used primarily for inland cruising and maybe a loop cruise in a couple of years, assuming the economy allows me to retire. I would be gratefull for any feedback.

    concord is a great boat

    Hi there!
I'm a newbie and my husband should answer this, and I will get him on here later, as he is trying to fix a pocket door on our 1965 Matthews. We have looked at the Concord vessels and have learned a great deal. Very solid, and when you find one in good shape - that's a good vessel. My captain will be pleased to fill you in when he surfaces from the aft cabin!!
