One Billion Dollars...

    Like everyone else, my inbox gets its share of facts, trivia and jokes. The word "billion" is an everyday word, but how many of us have stopped to consider what this number actually represents. One advertising agency did a good job of putting that figure into some perspective in one of its releases...

    i think this word is most interesting if seen from the european side:

    the american word "billion" is set to 1,000,000,000 Dollar
    the german(european) word "billion" is set to 1,000,000,000,000 Dollar - which is some bits more ;)
    that would mean, add a couple of zeros to you credit-card :)
