anybody have any personal experience with the new ocean 50ss the boat seems quite impressive and it looks like it has a decent bit of transom deadrise as well compared to the older oceans. the only problem with the boat is the limited fuel capacity of only 780 gallons which is kind of small for a 50 ft. any body knows if they have room on board a 50 to add about 200 more gallons and how the added weight will affect the ride.

    thanks in advance

    Hi Gregg,

The newer Ocean Yachts are all built on a much deeper hull. The 50 is a great riding boat. I had one for a year in 06, and loved it, and moved up to the NEW 54. It is a little light on fuel, and there is room to add a little more.

    Hope this helps,

    Chris
