I have seen some Norseman Sportfishers come up for sale. Anyone here have any opinions on these older battle wagons?
Stay away from the Cummins V8s that Chris Norseman loved so much. These boats are built like a brick poo house and with good care they are hard running good riding beasts. Not the best fish raisers, but they're screwed together well and can stand a lot of rough water.
There were several different Norseman SF's, some built of wood, a couple built on Stapelton hulls and a few built on fiberglass Padilla hulls. Well built but imo a little hard on the eyes.
