First Nordhavn N96 Nearing Completion

The first hull in the new N96 line is nearing completion by Nordhavn. The yacht was recently moved to the test floating tank to check for leakage and associated issues. She is so near to completion that the company is expected to ship the yacht from the Chinese yard to the U.S to have her commissioned there. Shipping is anticipated for early November. The N96 is essentially based on the successful N86 but offers a larger platform for owners to step-up to if they desired. To prove that this philosophy is accurate, five other orders were made for this model and four of those orders have been made by current Nordhavn owners.

So what makes the N96 superyacht model so popular within the Nordhavn fleet? “It’s common for our owners to stay brand loyal,” commented Project Manager, Trever Smith. “Each of these owners who were looking to move up in size is coming from a Nordhavn on the larger end of the line-up. The 96 provides them the additional room they were seeking as well as peace of mind which comes from investing in a brand they know and trust.” We will have more on the new N96 when she is shipped to the U.S for commissioning.
