Time for replacement. Any thoughts on DE0061R ? .or if anyone has better suggestions Lou R. 36mainship
Conventional wisdom seems to suggest that Tundra and Isotherm are making some more reliable, direct replacements for the failed No-Cold units. I'd look around at several alternatives.
Inquiring on a DE0061R or replacing it? If I recall the later nor-colds have the newer DanFoss compressor. This system is the basis on most of the newer refrigerators out there.
I pronounce them "never cold" because they never really seem to get cold enough.....I'd look at other alternatives personally.
I would move away from the Norcold as well. R&R'd one because it was running 20 hours a day. Now, so does the new one and it's just as loud too. I'd look at Tundra and Nova Kool or a non-marine 110V unit if that fits your program.
Yeah, the U lines are a lot better if you're looking in the typical nevercold category.....at least they have good sized compressors on them.
