  1. 2026 FLIBS News You Might Have Missed

The 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) is now in the rear-view mirror. This article serves to update our readers on news that you might have missed from this year's show. Superyachts tend to pique viewers interest but the spotlight is on the smaller yachts on display and related news as this is where the reality is for many buyers.
  2. Firstly, there was an announcement for ISY 130 Aventura. ISY denotes the 'superyacht' offering of Inace Yachts, the Brazilian builder. The yard previously announced the ISY 150 Explora -at the 2026 Monaco Yacht Show (MYS)- which is currently under construction for an American client who previously ran two Nordhavn yachts. The ISY130 Aventura however, is a different model that joins the already established Aventura series. While it is designed for longer-range cruising and autonomy has more of a conventional luxury yacht form-factor. The lines of the ISY 150 Explora evoke the explorer appeal bit more with its forward-oriented superstructure and longer aft main deck for tender storage.
  3. The ISY 130 Aventura has both its Naval Architecture and exterior design penned by Hydro Tec. The ISY 130 is just an addition to this particular series. The first Aventura model was completed as "Sea Boss" in 2024. The new yacht is being built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure. “The 130 Aventura brings the refinement of Hydro Tec’s disciplined explorer naval architecture and design together with the way INACE Superyachts has always built: steel hulls, aluminium superstructures and systems made for life far from shore", said Marco do Carmo, Commercial Director, Inace.
  4. Deep into this year's show Pearl Yachts formally unveiled the Pearl 100 Hybrid. This represents the yard's most ambitious project to date. “With the Pearl hybrid system, there are three main advantages. The first is silent electric running, allowing owners to make short journeys – from a marina like this to a restaurant and back, for example – purely on electric power. Second, the battery pack can power the yacht's hotel systems for 10 to 12 hours, allowing for quiet enjoyment on board overnight. Finally, the combination of generators, engines and battery power in a diesel-electric propulsion system delivers extended range. So, beyond the environmental benefits, a hybrid system has a great deal to offer owners”, said Ian Smallridge, managing director of Pearl Yachts.
  5. The exterior sees lines from the pen of Dixon Yacht Design while the interior is from the Kelly Hoppen design studio. The Hybrid aspect is not optional, this is standard on this boat which puts the Pearl 100 Hybrid in a segment that defines itself. The Pearl 100 Hybrid stands far ahead as the flagship model of the build with the Pearl 82 being the closest model in terms of size. Onboard there are five cabins that at least 10 guests can overnight and enjoy the Kelly Hoppen interior.
  6. The Oyster P60 was also unveiled at the 2026 FLIBS. It represents the brand's first bluewater power catamaran. The yacht will join the already recently unveiled Oyster C60 and the monohull flagship Oyster 36M, cementing the yard in the power catamaran segment. The 19.4-meter power cat is small enough to be handled by a couple while offering attributes of longer range bluewater power cat. Onboard there is the owner suite, plus two or three guest cabins depending on how the owner decides to configure.
  7. Stefan Zimmermann Zschocke, CEO of Oyster Yachts, said: “The P60 signals a major development in Oyster’s approach to bluewater yachting. It is the first time we have brought Oyster’s bluewater philosophy to a purpose designed luxury power catamaran." Being a yacht on a catamaran platform is advantageous because it offers significant volume within the footprint of a smaller vessel. Some of the exterior spaces onboard comprises over 1,300 square feet including a 355 square foot flybridge.
