40-meter Sportfish Splashed At Yachting Developments

Yesterday YF alerted you to the imminent launching of their near 40-meter sportfisher yacht. This morning, the yard splashed the yacht in the waters around the build facilities. Hull 1015, a 39.5-meter sportfisher yacht with design by Micheal Peters Yacht Design (MPYD) is now in the water. She is expected to be prepared for sea trials quickly and then conduct those trials and once all goes well, the yacht will be handed over before the year ends.

Hull 1015 can sleep as many as ten guests in four cabins. The interior is custom-made by Yachting Developments with close work with the owner to get the styling to their standards and also with Naylor Booth Associates. The internal volume is around 267GT, plenty of space around the three internal decks. The cabin arrangement is for a full-beam master suite, a VIP, a double and a twin with pullman berths to allow for the extra berthing. As many as six crew can be accommodated onboard. A par of tenders can be stored on the fore deck, yes a pair. 40,000 LT tanks will feed the twin MTU marine diesels rated at 3,140 horse power each.
