News: Westport Launches 9th W125

9th Westport W125 Launched

Westport Yachts has launched the 9th unit in their W125 model overall. It is a sistership to yachts like "Seas the Day" and "Lion's Den". However, hull 9 is actually slightly bigger than her sisters coming in at a length of 40.99-meters compared to 38.1-meters of Seas the Day. The design on the exterior and interior is in-house by Westport.

You will find a 5-cabin layout for guests with a full beam master being the domain of the owner on the forward main deck while 4 ensuite guest cabins are located on the lower deck. There is also accommodation for 5 crew members as well. Being slightly larger than its sisterships, the yacht will boast an 'enhanced' layout onboard. Westport has not commented on this new layout.

With a pair of MTU engines installed the expected top speed is going to be in the 25-knot region with a 20-knot high-cruising speed. The American shipyard is now working to commission this build for the client as well as working on the build of other projects including a W117 model that is expected to be ready for delivery in the 2nd quarter of 2024.
