Westport Launches 41-meter Westport 135

The first yacht launch of 2026 for American builder Westport has been put to the water. It is 41-meter from the Westport 135 model and in fact is the first of three 41-meters the yard has currently in build. This particular hull is expected to be prepared for making her debut at the 2026 edition of the Palm Beach International Boat Show (PBIBS) which is scheduled to run from the 25th to the 29th of March, 2026.

Five cabins are onboard for up to ten guests to retire to and up to 6 crew members can be accommodated. Westport said of the new model it is, “designed to appeal to both owners and potential clients, the new model emphasizes comfort, functionality, and timeless styling.” The market appears to be coalescing around the new design with hull 2 and 3 already accounted for. The second hull should be delivered later this year while the third hull should be ready in early 2027.

“The launch of our first 41-meter raised pilothouse motor yacht is an exciting moment for the entire Westport team,” the shipyard's President Daryl Wakefield commented. “This model reflects careful listening to our clients and the market, and the early sales success of hulls two and three confirm the demand for this new platform.”

In terms of performance, the vessel is carrying a pair of MTU engines which are expected to drive a top speed of 25-knots and performance cruising of 20-knots. While the yacht model will not win any environmental awards the yard certainly has made an effort to reduce the harmful emissions. Onboard, the W135 is a state-of-the-art Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) system It is expected to reduce the emissions produced and clean those that are emitted.
