Project 'Revolution' Resumes Construction

Vripack's designed Project Revolution is currently under construction...again. We say again because the project began in 2018 but did not make it very far as the owner at the time walked-away from the project. Construction has now restarted with no owner, being built on speculation. With the yacht in its early stages of build at the VEKA Group, it is estimated that construction will last until 2025 barring no further delays.

The exterior looks more-or-less the same but the interior decor has been changed markedly to appeal to the current crop of potential buyers. The general arrangement/layout has also been revamped from before. A few years have passed since 2018. On the interior there will be accommodation for up to 10 guests and 11 crew members.

A few performance figures include an anticipated diesel-electric propulsion setup which will run the yacht at up to 13.5-knots and cruise more efficiently at 11-knots. This setup is expected to resonate better with clients as the industry is more environmentally conscious now than 5 to 10 years ago. Project Revolution is expected to have a range in the region of 4,500 nautical miles. The diesel-electric propulsion outlay is also expected to have many benefits for a future owner, namely better efficiency as well as less vibrations during operation.
