First Viking 93 Motor Yacht Launched

New Gretna based yard Viking Yachts has launched the first example in their 93-foot line. The yacht splashed recently making it the largest yacht in the company's range to have been launched in over ten years. It is nearly the largest yacht they ever built overall as well -at 28.45-meter- coming in a close second position to the 32-meter vessel named "Starter Kit".

This tri deck yacht was built in all GRP materials and builds on the successes from previous models like the Viking 75 and the upcoming 82 foot boats. The design of the yacht is in-house and allows for ten guests to be accommodated onboard in five cabins. There is a master suite, a VIP grade suite as well as a double and two twin cabins. Up to three crew members can be hosted as well. Power onboard is by dual MTU V12 2000 M96Ls which should see her run to a top speed of 27-knots and fast cruise at 24-knots. The yard is planning to have this first hull debut stateside at the FLIBS later this year.
