  1. 32-meter "Jangada 2" Launches At Van der Valk
To top their innovative BeachClub 600 launch recently Van der Valk just launched the 32-meter "Jangada 2" from their building hall. This is their fifth vessel in their custom Raised Pilot House series and at 32-meters is the largest of all five. The other four were the 27.21-meter "The Next Episode", 24.99-meter "Jangada", the 26-meter "Forum"and the 26-meter "Nicostasia". As you can tell Jangada 2 has been built for a repeat client of the yard. Van der Valk says that you can actually build the custom Raised Pilot House yacht with them up to 40-meters so there is still room for you to go even larger than Jangada 2.
  2. The design of Jangada 2 has been largely influenced by the owners and with their prior experiences on their last yacht they wanted to make the new build even more customized. Nick Top along with Guido de Groot helped them achieve the exacting brief of the owners. It appears the owners are very happy at this stage with the proceedings as it relates to their new build.
  3. Now in the water, Jangada 2 is being put through her paces on sea trials. Delivery is expected to be on track for June. The owners will enjoy their new yacht in the Mediterranean along the Côte d‘Azur and then have it on display at the 2019 Cannes Yachting Festival in September. Minimalist interiors can be seen fleshed out in the cabin areas where European Oak has been utilized as the timber of choice. Up to eleven guests can be accommodated onboard this new yacht. There is a full-beam owner's suite on the lower deck. A VIP is forward the main deck and then three other cabins on the lower deck that can sleep up to seven adults and children if necessary.
