  1. Voyager 50 Coupé By Van den Hoven
Speed, elegance and luxury all meld together to produce a singular product called the Voyager 50 Coupé by Dutch yard Van den Hoven. This model offers similarities to other vessels Van den Hoven has produced but with a closer focus on performance and all-around comfort. The 50 Coupé has been developed for owners looking to sail further in less time.
  2. With deep attention paid to sound attenuation, the interior isn't only good looking with the finished materials as well as décor choices but the comfort levels relating to noise is excellent according to the builder. "The Voyager 50 must surely be one of the quietest and most relaxed 50-footers on the market today", comments Van den Hoven. One of the facets about the interior on deck level that commands your attention is the clear views to the exterior. This is because, all the furniture has been designed to sit just below window level which allows exterior views to be preserved without visual obstructions.
  3. Despite being raised a bit above the floor, this platform dinette nook does not impede the views outward. Fine leathers line the dinette sofa and the built-in silhouette is accentuated by the indirect lighting installed at the sole further emphasizing the elevated nature of this corner dining locale. Remember, this is a 50-footer and space is at a premium onboard so space-utilization is a factor that was carefully considered.
  4. If a helm position could be thoughtfully planned and executed elegantly, yet be simple in its existence it would be the set-up aboard the Voyager 50 Coupé. Three wide-format screens display whatever you need for open-water navigation, close-quarters navigation and general awareness of the situation on and around the vessel. A carbon fiber wheel is stylish with the exposed weave work of the carbon on display. On the console there is the Volvo Penta shifter/throttle controls. Van den Hoven has installed a pair of Volvo Penta 480 horse power engines. They permit a top speed in the region of 22-knots.
  5. Below deck is an example of the craftsmanship in the cabins; this spacious V-berth is the owners suite and comes with its own ensuite bathroom. There are two other cabins available both likely to be twins in standard configuration. Even though it's a 50-footer, the bed is walk-around too which is a welcomed touch in smaller spaces. Two upper port lights provide a touch of natural lighting along with the side hull windows. The rich grain pattern in the timber used for the paneling and joinery pops through the high-gloss finish while the deeper wood tone contrasts with the lighter upholstery.
  6. Moving outside, the wide gangways provide ample room to move safely from fore to aft. The foredeck has a range of tempting sunbeds and seating, an ideal spot to observe the yacht’s progress. A cozy aft deck is set up for al-fresco lounging and dining while the stern features a clever storage solution with an electrically operated hatch to store bicycles, water-skis, SUPs and more. There is also a hydraulic swim platform which future clients could adapt to carry a tender of up to 3.85-meters if required.
  7. The configuration of the Voyager 50 Coupé is sporty and should appeal to younger owners, while the single-level layout and low entry make the yacht attractive to older clients too. Simple to sail, moor and operate, the Voyager 50 is ideal as a weekender or for longer excursions. Main dimensions of the Voyager 50 Coupé include an LOA of 15.33-meters, 14.99-meters for the hull itself, beam of 4.80-meters and draft of 1.18-meters. The vessel weighs around 26 tonnes and carries diesel for 2 X VOLVO PENTA D6-480 HP engines to use.
