  1. V-55 From Valhalla Boatworks
Valhalla Boatworks is a relatively new name in the center console sector but they have made their presence felt in the few years of their existence. In case you have not heard of the brand Valhalla Boatworks, it is owned and operated by Viking Yachts. They got their introduction in 2019 with the premiere of the first three V Series center consoles – the V-33, V-37 and V-41. The Valhalla 46 followed 18 months later, solidifying VBW's entrance to the super-size center console market. Since then the company has been working on the new Valhalla 55, the flagship of the line to date.
  2. "We’re providing all the strengths of our Valhalla design – everything from the style and aesthetics to the ride quality and fishability – in a center console large enough to accommodate a private stateroom, head with separate shower and overnighting space for additional crew," says Viking Design Manager David Wilson. "We wanted to give our owners the ability to spend more time on board with family and friends – to go farther, stay longer and bring along more guests."
  3. Quadruple or quintet Mercury 7.6-liter V12 600-hp Verado outboards power this new Valhalla. In terms of speeds, Valhalla has not stated what the top speed is. Helping that performance is a hull designed by Michael Peters Yacht Design featuring a Stepped-V Ventilated Tunnel (SVVT). There are a number of unique traits to this boat. Largest resin-infused center-console of its kind, it is the first center-console under 60-feet capable of over 3,000 horse power (with the 5 outboards), it is also equipped with a Seakeeper Gyro 9 - the largest from 50-60 feet.
  4. Length overall is 55.7-feet with an impressive beam of 15.6-feet. Some boats in this seize category have a beam of 13 or 14-feet. Draft with the engines down is 48-inches or 4-feet. The platform can be geared for fishing and be a well-equipped platform for that purpose. Two 65 gallon live wells are onboard along with two insulated fishboxes aft and a fishbox forward with Whale Gulper Pumps. There are ample rod holders around the cockpit area too. 6 Gemlux Stainless Steel Rod Holders are located around the cockpit, cockpit coaming.
  5. Accommodation for the Valhalla V55 has the main cabin located forward. A raised queen-sized berth with room to walk around it and storage underneath the mattress is the centerpiece of the space. Another 32-inch television is on the wall and there is an ensuite head with vanity/sink. On the starboard side is a separate enclosed shower. Farther aft is a bunk area that features a pair of single berths that can be a perfect option for a couple, kids, or extra space for your crew. There are some options you can add like a Tuna Tower which would be supplied by subsidiary Palm Beach Towers. Some other customizations allowed are a gap tower or a fold-down Marlin tower with a removable sunshade. The hardtop is loaded with features from Lumitec mirage spreader lights, to light bars, rocket launcher, a molded-in electronics pod, Gemlux outriggers, electric teaser reels, and the underside can be painted to match the boat. This vessel is expected to make its premiere at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show this year.
