  1. 2025 PBIBS Sees Three Yacht Display By Westport
If you are a Westport Yachts aficionado then you will be pleased to note that the company is displaying three yachts at the 2025 Palm Beach International Boat Show. The PBIBS kicked-off today and will run to the 23rd of March. Westport Yachts announced that they will be having the 35-meter Westport 117 - a 2025 unit-. Additionally they will be displaying a 2020 unit from the Westport 125 (35-meter) model along with a 2017-built Westport 112 (34-meter). If you are attending the show, you can find Westport at Dock: E-301J.
  2. The first Westport 117 to launch was called "Priceless" and that happened in late 2024. She now technically makes her international show debut at the show after starting construction in 2022 when the COVID-19 restrictions started to ease. Internally known as Hull 3501 while under construction the yacht showcases the regular GRP construction. The interior boasts approximately 225 GT and is known to feature Mahogany and Pomelle Sapele in the guest spaces and Beech hardwoods in the crew areas. 5 cabin layout sleeps 10 guests.
  3. The W125 has different styling cues to the 117 model. It doesn't appear that Westport still builds this particular model after introducing it around 2014 and last known to ship units of the type in 2023. The first hull to launch was "Black Gold" back in 2016. Similarly to the 117, you will be able to find a 5-cabin layout for guests on the W125. Featuring a full-width Master stateroom on deck forward with his-and-her baths and wardrobes. Four (4) ensuite Guest staterooms with choice of queens or twins are privately entered from the lower deck Midship Foyer; Exercise Room may be converted from one of the guest staterooms. These yachts typically carried MTU 16V 2000s which were good enough for a 25-knot top end.
  4. Westport's 112 was an incredibly popular model for the yard. Since the first one was launched back in 1994 the model took-off in its popularity and enjoying what would become a near three-decade run. Take "Book Ends" for example which was perhaps one of the best 112s taking into account the reinvigoration and redesign done by Sylvia Bolton. "Book Ends is as different as it can be from the last generation without actually changing the layout."
