  1. Project 'Redwood' Technical Launch
The 142-meter superyacht being built at Lurssen under project name 'Redwood' has re-emerged from the floating dry dock. The construction management company working with the yacht released this photo of the vessel just prior to hitting the water and of course while it isn't the official launch of the finished yacht which isn't due for completion until 2020, it is still a sight to behold. Remember nearing the end of 2018 this vessel was moved into a floating dry dock.
  2. The 465-foot superyacht is designed by Nuvolari & Lenard and when completed will be home to upwards of 36 guests across 20 cabins. Not only is N&L responsible for the exterior they are also tasked with the interior design. With as many as 36 guests onboard the superyacht is being built to the Passenger Yacht Code (PYC) to be able to comply. Project Redwood has grown a bit since conception as she was announced as a 139-meter vessel. Today a few more meters have been added on to bring her LOA to 142-meters. Like almost all Lurssen build's alot of information regarding the features to go onboard is being kept quiet for now but more information will be released once she officially launches. What we do know is that Redwood will have two helipads, a dive center, storage for a large 15-meter tender, a massive swimming pool and other interesting features. The below photo is an older photo taken by Dr. Duu.
