News: Tankoa Yachts Launch 50M "Olokun"

Italian yard Tankoa Yachts launched their newest yacht recently. She is the 50-meter superyacht called "Olokun". The new yacht is in the water already and going through the usual processes before delivery to her owner. Sea trials have actively started and the yacht is expected to be handed over to her owner by November. With a design by Frencesco Paszkowski and an interior by Casa Dio (Miami).

On sea trials the yard is expecting to reach a top speed of 17.5-knots and cruise quickly at 14-knots. The all-aluminium yacht which is hull three in this particular series (S501 (3)) from Tankoa has regular diesel propulsion utilizing a pair of MTU 8V 4000 M54s. The yacht was built on speculation and only an owner purchased her relatively late in the build stages having came onboard in March, 2020. We are not one-hundred percent sure what her accommodation is like with the owner picking up this yacht late in the build stage, however, it is known that Olokun has an extra room in the master cabin area that can be converted into another smaller cabin. Her sisterships usually sleep between 11 and 12 guests. She is a near sister to yachts like "Vertige" and "Bintador" -all built by this yard-. Her principle dimensions are 49.99-meters LOA, 9.40-meters wide with a draft of 2.4-meters.
