Turkey-based builder Numarine has announced the completion of their latest 32XP build. She has been christened and named "Calliope" by her owner. For those who will take in the 2018 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), Calliope will be making her debut at that show. She has to come 'stateside' eitherway because her owner is American.

The yacht is distinctive enough in her metallic Ice Blue hull paint and with the sculpted angles incorporated into the hull design, the effect is magnified. A five cabin layout is onboard Calliope with the master suite located on the forward main deck. This is the normal positioning of the master suite but it is different to the location on the first 32XP hull called "Marla". Her's is located on the upper deck aft where as Calliope has a skylounge or secondary saloon in that area. Two doubles and two twins are located on the lower deck for Calliope's guests while the crew has a small mess and bunk style accommodations in the bow of the hull.

A pair of marine diesels power Calliope to a top speed of 14-knots but she will probably be cruising in the 10-knot range for her efficiency to be more pronounced. She can travel for 4,000 nautical miles at a continuous 9-knots, that's a good deal! The upper aft deck is where tender storage is and as can be seen in the photo, a large tender is being housed there. There is actually space for a 9-meter RIB and a couple of PWCs serviced by a crane. The third unit in the 32XP series is in advanced stages of construction and is expected to be completed probably in early 2019 with launching late in 2018.
