  1. Rossi Navi 50-meter "Endeavour" Launched
Over the past weekend Italian yard Rossi Navi launched its first superyacht of the new year, the 164-foot "Endeavour". This yacht was under construction as FR032 at the yard and has design lines by the guys at Team4Design. Naval architecture is by Arrabito Naval Architects while the interior is by Achille Salvagni. This name may sound familiar to some because this same interior designer worked with Rossi Navi on one of their past projects. At the time that yacht was called "Numptia".
  2. Endeavour is an interesting piece of engineering as most yachts are but her propulsion is via the diesel-electric setup. Below the waterline she has podded propulsion thanks to RollsRoyce and this alone should make her a very maneuverable yacht in tight quarters. With the yacht just being launched sea trials haven't started but projected numbers suggest that Endeavour should make a 16-knot top speed with a range of just over 5,000 nautical miles at 11 or 12-knots. Accommodation is for ten in five cabins. All guest rooms are on the lower deck and comprise of two doubles and two twins. The full beam master is forward on the main deck. The full displacement yacht comes in at just under 500GT and measures 49.9-meters with a beam of 8.8-meters and a draft of 2.2-meters. Come June or July we should see another launch from Rossi Navi with a Prince Shark class of yacht.
