  1. R-43 Command Bridge By Ranger Tugs
The R-43 Command Bridge is the largest vessel Ranger Tugs manufactures at the moment and this is the model we are discussing today. The company does however make smaller vessels all the way down to the R-23. There are quite a few models between the R-23 and R-43 CB. The R-25, R-27, R-29S, R-29 CB, R-31S, R-31 CB and the R-43S are those models. From the R-29 and larger essentially there is a sportier version and a command bridge version in each size.
  2. Despite the purposeful older looks the vessel features the latest in conception. You’ll feel confident in all conditions with twin Volvo IPS drives, joystick driving and docking, and a Garmin 22'' navigation suite with chartplotter, AIS, autopilot, and radar. Add even more control with available gyroscope stabilization, FLIR thermal imaging, and Dynamic Positioning. Although the main helm station is inside on the forward main deck to the starboard side, there is a second helm station upstairs on the command bridge where a Garmin 8616 chartplotter and necessary controls are located.
  3. The R-43 CB are built in the United States and have the appeal of ocean-going tug/trawler life. Onboard, guests can sleep in two private staterooms, each with ensuite head and shower. The cabins are fitted with queen-sized beds for extended cruising. Although the vessel is called the R-43 CB, the overall length (rigged) is actually closer to 46.9-feet. The beam is 14-feet with a draft of just 42-inches. Despite their appearance the vessels are actually quite sprightly thanks to twin Volvo Penta IPS450s with 1135.6 LT fuel capacity.
