  1. Progress On 25-meter ECO Tender From Perini Navi
Italian builder Perini Navi announced last month further details on the 42-meter E-Volution sloop and shed light on a chase boat that was ECO-friendly as well. This 25-meter chaseboat/tender has progressed really well in construction since the announcement. The tender is not just a chase boat proposed to follow, send-ahead and serve the 42-meter E-Volution sloop but it is practically a stand-alone small yacht.
  2. The reason why the craft is called an ECO tender is simply because during its operation it will have less of a negative impact on the environment. She will be powered by a diesel-electric drive train system that will still allow her to have an express top-speed of 30-knots but she can also utilize the electric power stored in her onboard batteries to operate the plant as well as the waterjets. This is perfect if the owner wants to cruise environmentally sensitive destinations like the Galapagos for example or marine parks.
  3. Onboard there is plenty of room and areas for guests to enjoy. Even on a small boat envisioned for use as a chase boat, the yacht has outdoor areas to make living more comfortable. On the foredeck, there is a sunken cockpit area that can be used for al-fresco dinner while at anchor or even just for cocktails with all the guests together. The aft cockpit is spacious too with seating room and large sunpads overlooking the transom. Six guests have three cabins to choose from, a spacious master suite, a double as well as a bunk-style cabin. This yacht is expected to be completed for her owner in 2019. At this point, the hull and superstructure are largely completed.
