  1. Miami Yacht Show 2020 Debut For Palm Beach GT60
The middle-child of the Palm Beach GT family, the GT60 is set to make its debut at the 2020 Miami Yacht Show. With the GT50 being first the GT range is quickly establishing itself as a new product family under the Palm Beach brand, with a third model, the GT70 planned in the not too distant future. The first hull of the GT60 has been launched and is currently being tested to validate all systems.
  2. The GT60 is likely to reach a 40-knot cruising speed with half-load conditions. Naturally the top-end is a bit higher, likely to be 45-knots but this has not been confirmed as yet. Onboard is a pair of Volvo IPS 1350 engines bolstering that performance. That performance is also down to its lightweight construction. Like all Palm Beach models, a hyper-focus on lightweight, strong construction helps to ensure the GT’s efficiency. The GT’s hull is a fully infused vinylester cored e-glass construction, complemented by a fully infused, 100-percent carbon fiber deck and superstructure. The deck and bulkheads are structurally bonded to the hull for increased strength and rigidity, forming a semi-monococque shell that produces a far stronger result. It is looking like the yacht will be able to run at cruising speed for 400 nautical miles.
  3. Boot Dusseldorf will get to see the GT60 first but only for the press. The full display will be at the Miami Yacht Show in February. The interior is also spacious offering a woody-feel in a contemporary setting. The likely layout onboard will be a two-cabin arrangement, one in the bow and the other towards midships. Palm Beach motoryachts should be able to help you with a slightly different layout if needed.
