  1. 24-meter "Samara" Launched At Pachoud Yachts
Pachoud Yachts is located in New Zealand and they have been building Catamaran hulled yachts for a while now. Their latest is the 24-meter power cat, "Samara" with a hint of explorer in her. The yacht features a main tender, room for motorbikes, kayaks, other water toys, a jacuzzi and a Robinson R44 helicopter on her enormous helipad. The design of this epoxy composite yacht was penned by Scott Juston with an interior by Sylvia Bolton.
  2. Samara has a range of 2,500 nautical miles and is powered by two MAN 800 horse power R6 engines. With 14,000 LT of fuel onboard, Samara can travel at a top speed of 20-knots or if she needs to extend her range she can be dialed back to 12-knots or less. It appears she can sleep up to ten, (eight guests and two crew) as they are four cabins below deck in the hulls and a master suite forward on the main deck.
  3. The interior is light and airy but benefits from splashes of colour in the fabrics and furnishings selected. It is also very spacious thanks the Samara’s 31-foot beam. There is a dedicated internal bridge for navigation but when the weather is good and for docking, there is a secondary helm station upstairs on the starboard side. Samara appears to have completed sea trials and should be ready for delivery to her owners.
