A Look Around The Interior Of The Second Bilgin 163

In recent times, Bilgin Yachts has been pushing out builds on the larger end of their offering spectrum like the two 80-meter "Tatiana" and "Leona". However, the yard does have smaller vessels in build that include the second hull of their 50-meter or 163 model. It is under construction at the yard as NB 81 and features an exterior by Unique Yacht Design as well as an interior by the Hot Lab studio. In fact, renderings have recently been released showcasing what can be expected with the interior décor and ethos.

At just about 50-meters overall the vessel keeps the internal volume just below the 500 GT threshold at 499 GT. You may remember that this second hull has its technical launch mid-year around June or July and should be completed in 2024 while the first hull should be done in time to be showcased at the 2023 edition of the Monaco Yacht Show (MYS). Hull 2 is expected to be fitted with 6 cabins to sleep 12 guests. Below is an example of what to expect with regard to accommodation. This is one of the large double suites onboard.

Below is the primary suite onboard and we can appreciate the full-beam offering with large windows on either side and its contrasting light and dark toned palette. The room is to feature an oversized centerline king with a large walk-in wardrobe. The ensuite bathroom too is large and proposed to be clad in luxurious light hued marbles, ample glazing for the shower area and his and hers sinks on either side of the central shower region. Overall a slice of luxury for the owner to enjoy during their stint onboard.

The remainder of the interior carries on a similar theme where light cremes and darker stones with wood inlays play with the senses as well as fluted and grilled surfaces that dapple natural light into the social spaces. This can be seen exhibited in the formal dining and salon areas of the yacht. The result is a palette of rich tones lending to a contemporary and modern atmosphere. Many of the elements coming together using sandy to cream tones with accents of off-white and light grey.

On this vessel the lower aft deck space has been designed to provide an on-water relaxing experience with the vessels own beach-club. Here we can see the wooden design elements incorporated providing linear and vertical lines at different sizes and thicknesses. The space is naturally best enjoyed when the transom door is opened to help make the connection to the sea and outdoors. It is also fitted with a TV and ceiling speakers for an informal movie experience.

The Bilgin 163 is known to be equipped with twin 1,450 horsepower CAT engines that should provide her with a top-end speed of around 17-knots and dialing back she should be cruising at a speed of 12-knots. This yard is busy with numerous vessels in construction or on the brink of delivery. Up to recently there were as many as eight yachts in build. Two 80-meter yachts (should be hull 2 and 3), a 74-meter build, the two 50-meter series along with a 86-meter. Additionally yachts from the 52-meter range are also in the works.
