OceAnco; Vitruvius Unveil 105-meter 'Acquaintance' Design at MYS 2015​

The latest Vitruvius superyacht incarnation will be one built in collaboration with Dutch builder OceAnco. Yes you read right, OceAnco is onboard with Vitruvius on the combination. However, it is anticipated to be built at Turquoise Yacht's facilities. The new yacht design is a 105-meter superyacht called 'Acquaintance' and features design by Philippe Briand and is so-far the largest superyacht in the Vitruvius line. The previous three units in the series were all Perini Navi-Vitruvius collaborations but Acquaintance marks the first time work between them and OceAnco.

The massive yacht has a number of brilliant features that can be afforded by virtue of the yacht's size. There is a full-sized helipad on the bow, an entire owner's deck, large swimming pool on the aft main deck and beach club. The owner's deck is private especially the aft area of this deck. The owner's suite is aft facing and has an outdoor terrace that can only be accessed from inside the master room through the sliding glass doors. The main pool has a glass bottom and a glass aft edge. This pours light into the aft part of the lower deck below which houses the beach club, spa and gym. It surely will be an interesting experience for guests looking up during the day. Accommodation will be for up to twenty-four guests in ten staterooms. With a yacht this size, it affords the guest cabins to be all forward on the main deck enjoying the near floor-to-ceiling glazing. The sundeck -the heighest deck onboard- is also exclusive as it can only be reached through the master suite which is exclusive own its own. Sundeck features a jacuzzi and bar and is shaded from the hardtop. Acquaintance's large tender garage can host an "A"-styled main limo-tender of up to 12-meters along with an assortment of other tenders and water toys. She will be PYC Compliant and be in the region of 4,302 gross tonnes.
