We have seen alot of Ocean Alexander Yachts whether they are from the Revolution, Explorer, Legend lines and the yard has now branched-off into bigger builds like the 35 Puro series with the first one in the line named "A Salt Weapon" making its debut last year. Customers are naturally attracted to these builds as the style covers American aesthetic as well and more recently European styling points. Even at the smaller end of the offering Ocean Alexander excels. In fact they just sold a new 27R with a metallic paintjob.

The new owners of this 27R already owned a relatively new 2023-build 26-meter and traded it in for the new 27R! MarineMax in Pompano facilitated the sale and it is actually the owner's 5th yacht through them but first Ocean Alexander. "They were immediately impressed by the enclosed skylounge, which offered a climate-controlled, versatile space compared to an open flybridge," said Sean Doyle, MarineMax. "The addition of the beach club and the yacht’s shallower draft made it ideal for exploring the Bahamas, a favorite destination for their family."

The owners of the new yacht suggest that they are keeping the vessel private. This allows them to continue their tradition of family trips and adventures throughout South Florida and the islands. The yacht will be based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, providing convenient access to their favourite cruising grounds.

The 27R’s design checked all the boxes for the owners who frequently cruise between Miami, the Florida Keys, and the Bahamas. The enclosed skylounge quickly became a standout feature, providing an elevated entertaining and relaxation space with panoramic views, all while maintaining comfort in varying weather conditions. The beach club offered a seamless connection to the water, creating the ultimate space for lounging, swimming, and enjoying days at anchor. The yacht’s draft was a key deciding factor, opening up countless destinations in the Bahamas that would be otherwise difficult to access with deeper-draft vessels.

The owners will enjoy their new yacht taking it to their favorite destinations. Onboard you will find creature comforts such as al-fresco dining on the aft upper deck with room for a bar, jacuzzi and lay-out cushions. The swim platform serves to store their two Sea Doo PWCs and whether underway or at anchor they should always remain connected to the internet world with their Starlink dish on the roof. The foredeck also has lounging and relaxation space too with sunpads and built-in U-shaped seating paired to a cocktail table.
