We have now seen Nordhavn hull 9617 in the open at the yard being tank-tested. This is a major milestone to ensure the yacht is fully watertight in the hull and won't risk taking on water...and if it were to, it is in a test tank and not in the open ocean. For the owner who is seeking megayacht-like experience and style as well as features in a boat that is still able to be managed with no – or minimal – crew, the Nordhavn 96 is the ideal solution.

The LOA is 96.7-feet with a comfortable beam of 24-feet. The draft is just 8.2-feet making shallow-water cruising simple and stress-free. Displacement is approximately 400,000 lbs. 26,497 LT of fuel can be carried onboard to feed a pair of CAT C-18 marine diesels. Stay tuned to when this new vessel officially hits the water and is further prepared for delivery to her owner.
