News: Nordhavn Launches N7104 "Vivir"

Nordhavn has launched the latest example in their relatively new N7104 model to date. The vessel, displaying the name "Vivir" has been put to the water and launched a couple days ago on the 10th of August. Since then the vessel has been prepared for sea trials and according to the yard has already been taking part in sea trials. The yacht will be delivered to her owners in short order.

This specimen will also be fairly easy to distinguish from the other Nordhavn N71s in operation so far with its grey and white paint finish and bold blue double boot-stripe. Vivir was launched at the Nordhavn factory in Taiwan. She still has the same features as the others including twin prow anchors, foredeck mounted crane to serve the tenders and toys and flybridge with hardtop.

The N71 is a good step-up for many owners in the Nordhavn fold but also a good entry point for customers in the 70-foot market. In fact, with the first three hulls committed by former owners of Nordhavn 68 or Nordhavn 60 models, the N71 seems to be filling a void and demonstrating that a few extra feet and extra space speaks volume -literally-.

In terms of performance, this model tends to hold at least 17,000 LT of fuel with the first hull having capacity for 19,000 LT. In the engine room there are twin John Deere 6068SFM85 249hp @ 2400 rpm. The last N71 (7103) was christened "Sea Nut" while the first hull to kick off the model was called "Luna". Regardless, this model has the legs to take their owners on extended cruises with ease while indulging them in the realm of luxury.
