Explorer pocket-yacht specialist Nordhavn is working on a Compact 80 Explorer yacht that they will launch in 2019 according to schedule. The 24.3-meter yacht will have long range thanks to her trawling speeds and comparatively adequate 18,000 LT fuel tanks. The engine package will be a pair of John Deere 375 horse power marine diesels. Accommodations can satisfy as many as eight guests in four cabins. The master suite will be located on the forward main deck position and is full-beam. Guest accommodation is on the lower deck and comprise of two doubles and a twin. Two crew members can also be slept in a room towards the transom area. Even though the superstructure is more amidships in placement there is still enough room on the bow for a pair of Nautica RIB tenders to be stored. The yacht is in build at the yard's Xiamen facility and is expected to hit the water in 2019.
